Trip to Lviv. Part II

 

Lviv - a city for everyone. Modern technology, old architecture and culinary tours - this city has that all. And coffee! It was best coffee I have ever tried! Plus, I found perfect Zaher cake!

Ж. А. Дарьо в своей книге "Элегантность. Азбука хорошего вкуса" советует каждый сезон выбирать один цвет, который станет базовым в гардеробе. Благодаря этому вещи будут легко комбинироваться между собой и бюджет сохраниться. В моем случае цветом лета 2013 стал красный и все его оттенки. Не знаю с чем это связано, но выбор на него пал скорее интуитивно, чем осознанно. Я с радостью сочетаю красные вещи между собой создавая луки в стиле тотал ред (Смотри здесь) и комбинирую с вещами других цветов, играя на контрасте (Смотри здесь). 

Сегодня покажу вам один из моих нарядов для рабочих будней. Красная рубашка и коралловая юбка выглядят более чем органично для офиса, возможно босоножки на каблуках подошли сюда бы лучше чем мои сандалии, но в жаркие дни я не могу себя заставить находиться на работе в неудобной обуви. А вы можете?

Cat Hat

Right now, cat hat is must-have for me. You look like as a child, you say? But, easy self-irony is always welcome, is it?

Время от времени у каждой девушки появляется желание заполучит ту или иную вещь. Ты думаешь о ней (визуализируешь, так сказать) и становищься уверенной в ее необходимости в твоем гардеробе. 

Для меня таким маст-хевом стала шапочка с ушками. По-детски, скажите вы? Но, легкая самоирония всегда приветствуется, неправда ли?

Denim Post

Here are our variants of wearability of such an essential element of wardrobe as jeans. For sure, it's always faultless to wear jeans in casual style. However, using adequate approach denim may be used for any occasion. We chose rather simple, but not dull looks for today.

Weekday

You know, it's a nice feeling to have a friend, who has the same interests and preferences as you are. We know how it is. Our outlooks are the same, we often think in the same way. But we differ in appearance. The particular feature of Olya's style is chic classy hints of Chanel style,while each look by Yana includes heavy accessories and bright details. We are so different ouwardly but we are so similar inwardly.

For yesterday walk in the park the similar elements were heels and jeans. Olya chose pastel colour trend using pale blue, white and lilac colours. Yana was wearing pink jacket and not less lovely leopard heels working on the contrast.

IT'S GREAT TO HAVE A FRIEND

As you can notice the weather was really nice on Saturday and we were about to have dinner. That was one of our sweet evenings when we gather to discuss the events of our life and to shot several pictures. We have chosen elegant style for our looks. Olya was dressed in a navy blue dress by H&M, black tights, black shoes and a black tie. That's what we call classy and  minimalistic. There is nothing needless in this look. Yana was wearing a pink dress, a black cardigan, black tights and dark grey shoes. The look is restrained in a classy style, though pink colour adds some freshness.

Interview With a Fashion Blogger: Carlinn Meyer

Today we start our new column under the name "Interview with a fashion blogger". We think it will be interesting for you to get some new information from bloggers you've known for a long time.  Every time we will change questions and we'll try to put more unusual questions. But now is our first interview. The first blogger we have put some questions to was Carlinn from http://www.superficialgirls.com/ blogging from Cape Town.

This girl has her own style and it's easy to recognize her in the crowd of bloggers, she doesn't follow brands and trends blindly, she knows how to use or adapt this or that clothes item for her style. Her favourite colour is pink, we can see this colour almost in every look by Carlinn. She likes sweets and macaroons and she always looks sooo sweet. :)

Losing Individuality

Warning: This post contains some critical information. But it doesn't mean that we want to offend any blogger mentioned in the post. We just want to criticise one of the disadvantages of the bloggers' fashion as whole and to show that nowadays fashion trends and blind imitation of what you've seen go hand in hand.

Day by day we are observing approximately identical looks on bloggers. The copying of top bloggers or just bloggers is getting more and more popular...it is called inspiration now. But do you know what is "inspiration"?
It is a sudden creativity when something new is created. Most of us mixed this word with plagiarism. People open somebody's blog, see the look and think "Oh...what a nice idea is to dress like this, I need to buy the same dress". We should disappoint you..it isn't inspiration..it is a blind following. The inspiration presupposes creation of something new, something of personal style. Unfortunately, we (bloggers) influence each other very much and it endangers our personal style.
We are getting tired of seeing the same clothes, shoes, accessories on everyone. Do not try to look like anyone, avoid copying somebody's looks.
