Losing Individuality

Warning: This post contains some critical information. But it doesn't mean that we want to offend any blogger mentioned in the post. We just want to criticise one of the disadvantages of the bloggers' fashion as whole and to show that nowadays fashion trends and blind imitation of what you've seen go hand in hand.

Day by day we are observing approximately identical looks on bloggers. The copying of top bloggers or just bloggers is getting more and more popular...it is called inspiration now. But do you know what is "inspiration"?
It is a sudden creativity when something new is created. Most of us mixed this word with plagiarism. People open somebody's blog, see the look and think "Oh...what a nice idea is to dress like this, I need to buy the same dress". We should disappoint you..it isn't inspiration..it is a blind following. The inspiration presupposes creation of something new, something of personal style. Unfortunately, we (bloggers) influence each other very much and it endangers our personal style.
We are getting tired of seeing the same clothes, shoes, accessories on everyone. Do not try to look like anyone, avoid copying somebody's looks.

Today I want to show you new things, which will be living in my closet since now. :)  I received this beautiful box with Braska boots from the Intertop shop yesterday. Could you imagine how excited I was to open it? :)

Chanel Haute Couture. Spring - Summer 2012

Chanel! How much does this word mean for every fashionista! And the collection Haute Couture on Paris fashion week shows why it is so. Beautiful dresses in blue colour scheme, draperies and unusual combinations of textures make the collection elegant and chic. Karl Lagerfeld is going on to amaze us with presentations - this time the background for the fashion show was the jaw-dropping intergalactic aeroplane.

The make up for models makes an accent on eyes, the eyes look really vivid and bright, while the pastel shade lipstick is applied for lips. The models also have up-do hairstyles, the Mohawk hairstyles are decorated with feathers and rhinestones. The collection looks more casual than evening, but the main point is that the collection is so Chanel-ish! :)

Dior Haute Couture. Spring - Summer 2012

Paris Fashion Week! It's a paradise of inspiration and enjoyment of creations by fashion geniuses. The overview of the Paris fashion week we want to start with Christian Dior Spring 2012 Couture collection. 

For spring  Bill Gaytten created elegant  looks with full skirts, wispy feathers and soft silhouettes. The main colors of the Dior collection are black, white and nude, but we believe that the red dress won't live you indifferent. However, the collection didn't enthuse fashion critics and they unanimously said that it is a repeat, we find the collection really classy and fabulous.

You won't see the fantastic show by John Galliano, but you are sure to enjoy a great amount of luxurious clothes by Bill Gaytten ! :)

A Snowman

Finally winter came to our city :) Everything is covered with snow, we couldn't miss the opportunity to take new pictures for our blog. A friendly brunch with girls set us in a cheerful mood and after having a cup of cappuccino with Belgian waffles we went to  take pics.

It is snowy and  it isn't cold. The weather is a fairytale. Children did a good job, a lot of snowmen appeared around the city. (you'll see our picture with a snowman below).

And as for the outfits...they look contrasting, but actually both looks stick to one palette...to a palette of a grey & black colors.

A denim shirt+Giveaway results!

A denim shirt which is so popular this season doesn't leave us indifferent. It's a basic thing which allows us to create at least two different outfits. The first look is inspired by the 70s. The look consists of a hat, a denim shirt and flared jeans. And don't forget about high heels :)

The second look is mixed with a red skirt, which makes the whole look brighter.

It's just basic variations which are possible to make with a denim shirt. So, we suggest a denim shirt as a must have for this month :)

A Cup of Tea

On Wednesday we met with our friends for a cup of tea to discuss the latest events. Such pretty relaxing evenings with friends is kind of our tradition. What can be more pleasant than tasty food and people whom you've been knowing for a lot of years? :)

Our outfits were simple and comfortable. Practical black colour and some bright details...
